Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command have detained a 26-year-old man, Chibunna Nwafor, in connection with the brutal killing of a pregnant nurse in Ogbunike, Oyi Local Government Area.
Nwafor, also known as “Offonwadile”, is alleged to be a native doctor who masterminded the crime alongside accomplices. According to a Police report, the victim was murdered in July 2025 after being lured to a friend’s home under the guise of providing medical assistance. Her body was reportedly mutilated, with parts said to have been taken to a shrine.
