River of tears on Tuesday night at Awhum Market in Enugu State after a massive tree suddenly collapsed within the market premises, leaving several people dead and others injured.
Rescue efforts began immediately, with local residents working to pull victims from beneath the tree.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement confirming the exact number of casualties as of the time of filing this report.
